The Problem

The primary challenge we faced in our Disney project was to conceptualize and develop a new ride experience that would resonate with visitors to Disneyland Paris. This involved understanding the unique preferences of European families, aligning with Disney's brand for magic and wonder, and creating an experience that would stand out amidst existing attractions in the park.

The Struggle

One of the main struggles we encountered was navigating the delicate balance between creating an exhilarating ride and ensuring the safety and suitability of the experience for young riders. This required careful consideration of factors such as ride intensity, safety measures, and the overall duration of the experience. Additionally, we grappled with the challenge of integrating cutting-edge technology into the ride while maintaining a timeless and enchanting atmosphere that aligned with Disney's storytelling tradition.

My Learnings

Through our Disney project, I gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of product marketing and the collaborative nature of creative endeavors. I learned the importance of thorough market research in understanding target audiences and crafting experiences that resonate with their needs and desires. Additionally, I honed my skills in strategic analysis, learning how to leverage frameworks such as Porter's Five Forces to identify market opportunities and threats. Overall, the project taught me the significance of effective communication, meticulous planning, and data-driven decision-making in driving successful marketing initiatives.
